When a refining client was entering a big federal environmental permitting process that was critical to their mission, Emic supported them in determining a strategy to manage the public consultation process, establish a narrative about the permit and helped manage their public meetings. Success in this process included having many supporters participate in the permitting process and ultimately the permit granted so that the client can get back to the mission at hand. While we still await the final permit (its the federal government after all) our client was thrilled to have Emic on their side when they needed help.  

One of our Fortune 50 energy clients leans on Emic regularly for our expertise in crisis training. Emic helps the client ensure that their internal communications staff is ready to respond in the event of an incident. We support the client with their crisis drill objectives and help them to manage the drill for the Public Information Officers and Liaison Officers. Ultimately, the goal is to be trained and ready to protect and rebuild trust in the company in the event of a major incident.

For this Energy client, we worked hand-in-hand with their IT team to support the change management needs of a major SAP implementation. Emic developed and delivered the program that supported this project though its multi-year timeline. From their customers to their employees, we supported their stakeholder communications needs from top to bottom.

This newly emerged refining client needed collateral materials to support their stakeholder engagement needs. Emic quickly stepped in to audit their existing materials and messages, develop a collateral plan and create new messages and materials for use with regulators, elected officials and their community. With new, engaging materials in had, the client can hit the streets to support their swift growth plans.

Working closely with one of our partners, Emic helped a major international  investment firm boost compliance with a newly implemented e-procurement system.  Through clear and compelling internal and vendor communications, Emic was a key to help our client reach their goals and reduce the risk of invoice fraud.
